Our Philosophy

A deliberate collection.
An operational obsession.

The outdoor lighting market is full of either cheap imports with inconsistent quality, or luxury architectural fixtures priced out of reach for most projects.

There is a gap in the middle. For builders who need something that photographs well and holds up through weather cycles. For designers who need a fixture that doesn't undermine an otherwise considered exterior. For homeowners who want quality without paying for a name.

That gap is what Edgeholme was built to occupy. Not the cheapest option. Not the most expensive. The most considered.

How We Think

Design principles we don't compromise on.

01

Architectural restraint

Good outdoor lighting recedes into the architecture. The fixture should serve the home, not compete with it. Every proportion, radius, and finish decision is made with that in mind.

02

Operational honesty

We don't publish lead times we can't meet. We don't list products we can't ship. Inventory is held before the store opens. Reliability is a design decision, not an afterthought.

03

Small catalog, done right

One fixture family. Three sizes. One finish. It is easier to sell a hundred products than to build one well. We chose to build one well.

04

Trade as a partner

Builders and designers are not a sales channel — they are partners. Trade program terms are built around how professionals actually work: project timelines, volume needs, and the cost of a wrong order.

05

Light that fits the project

The Arden is field-selectable from 2700K warm white to 5000K cool white — set via a switch under the mounting plate before final installation. Different projects call for different color temperatures. We don't make that decision for you.

06

No shortcuts on finish

Matte black powdercoat applied to die-cast aluminum. UV-stable. Tested for outdoor exposure. The finish is warranted because we're confident in it, not as a marketing claim.

The Background

Built from the outside in.

Growing up in Missouri, summers meant working job sites with my grandfather — a homebuilder who treated every exterior detail as a reflection of the work inside. That's where I learned that the outside of a home isn't an afterthought. It's the first thing anyone sees, and the last thing that gets the attention it deserves.

Nearly a decade in product operations sharpened a different instinct — how to build a supply chain that actually delivers, how to spec a product that holds up, and how to run a catalog small enough to do well. Managing supply chains, launching products, and building the systems that make reliable fulfillment possible.

The result is a brand that thinks about operations the way a designer thinks about proportion. Not as a cost to minimize, but as a variable that affects the end experience. When your order ships on time, in the right packaging, with the right product — that's not accidental. It's designed.

Edgeholme is a small catalog by design. The goal isn't to be everywhere. It's to be exactly right for the projects that need what we make.
